Hi friends- sorry I have been a little late in posting but I have been one busy bee….Life is busy isn’t it.??.This weather is so crazy…Warm, cold, rain then rain….Anyways, I thought I would give you a simple chili recipe I make all the time since I am loving comfort foods right now..We are in between seasons and the weather is unpredictable..So I say “eat what feels right” I will be getting more recipes out to ya soon and posting about what is happening around here asap….Be Well, Amy

Amy’s Turkey Chili
2 pounds ground turkey (or ground chicken, or beef)-feeds 4 people
1-2 cans kidney beans (or any kind of beans you like)
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 tsp of cumin
1 tsp of turmeric
1 tsp of nutmeg
1 tbls of cinnamon
½ cup water
Salt
Pepper
Place 2 pounds ground turkey in large Dutch oven. Cook until done (salt and pepper the turkey when cooking to give it flavor).
Add in beans, stewed tomatoes and spices
Let cook on low heat for a few hours (if you’re in a rush..just make sure the ground turkey is fully cooked and add in the rest of the ingriedents..Cook all together for ½ hour and serve)
