My name is Amy Hudgens and I am the owner of Busy Bee Nutrition. As a nutritional consultant and wellness organizer, I love to INSPIRE busy women, kids and families to feel less stressed, energized and NOURISHED in a simple way. Being well nourished is a whole body process. I work with individuals and families to help create a life flow that is grounding and supports all of their wellness goals. I have learned a lot of what I know from my own journey and my own constant need to find SIMPLICITY in my own life.
I am a busy woman, mother, business owner and wife who tends to be VERY passionate about many things. There are a lot of demands on me daily, which means it is a constant struggle to find simple and easier ways to create a work/life balance that is realistic to follow. Getting organized can feel like another full time job! Being nourished is so important and often we are too busy to take really good care of ourselves.I have found many short cuts through my own life experience and working with my clients that may help YOU feel inspired to be as nourished as possible. I encourage and guide my clients to try to eat a diet that is nutrient dense and organic. I love eating local, seasonal and use fresh foods anytime possible. Eating nourishing foods is so important for your overall health. I realize that every person has different needs for their diet. Diet shifts and changes can be so overwhelming for people and especially tired, busy and sleep deprived mamas! I work with my clients to help create an individual wellness plan that supports their needs. I try to offer simple suggestions and take the stress out of eating healthy nourishing foods. Nourishment Made Simple can happen for all of us! To be Nourished is not just about eating healthy, it is about NOURISHING our mind, body and soul.
I have a private practice in Santa Rosa California where I can do individual and family nutrition/wellness consultations in person. Skype and phone consultations can be provided for clients that live far away or for the “busy bee” that can’t get away. I created a nutrition program for preschoolers called Rainbow Greens about one year ago. I also have taught kids cooking classes for kids ages 6-9. I love working with kids and wanted to bring my passion into local preschools/cooking classes. My 2nd edition of my cookbook for Kids and busy families was released in 2016.
